But yuo have to "save" the preferencies too, not only use a new language. Besides, you can set the environment var. LANGUAGE to e.g. "fr" and the start lyx. Recently installed LyX 1.62 has UI and doc in english, when it used to be in french in previous version. How to go back to frenh ? Setting Tools/Preferences/Language/User Interface Language to french doesn't make any difference... -- ~adj~
