I typically include:
\usepackage{cite}
in my preamble to compress citations so that [1 2 3 4] becomes [1-4].
However, it seems to not work.
I saw a thread

that suggests removing Babel. I did so (I think) and it still does
not work.
I am using an article class with an unsrt bibliography style. Any tips?
