Then that's the reason: when you have many margin par, LaTeX has to
keep track of all of them before it can find a place for them on the
page. It is not always easy...

errors are in a input file named example.lyx. When I
compile example.lyx alone no errors occur! I looks in the LaTex log
file and think, that the errors caused by marginpar, for example:
