esub2acm.cls
I'm trying to use Lyx to create a document class for submission to an ACM journal. LaTex2e files can be found at http://www.acm.org/pubs/submitting_accepted_articles/au_dl.htm#latex_unix (esub2acm.cls, as well as esub2acm.bst and a few example tex files). I've tried following the directions in Chapter 6 of the Customization guide, but have not been able to get this document class to show up in the Lyx Document Class dialog. # \DeclareLaTeXClass{esub2acm}
3. save esub2acm.cls and all other files from the site
in /usr/local/share/texmf/tex/latex/esub2acm/
4. run texhash
5. run ~/.lyx/configure and look for a line like
+checking for document class esub2acm [esub2acm]... yes
start lyx and the class should be in
layout-document-class as esub2acm
now you have to look if standard article class are
more or less similiar to the esub2acm class.
