Dear LyX users,

my thesis contains many words that are not part of the standard language and
hence not in the ispell wordlist.

I know, I can insert them in my personal dictionary, but there are cases
that are only right in a specific context like file name or "Eulersche" in
Eulersche Winkel.

I would like to exclude them from the spell-check so I do not have to choose
"Ignore" again and again as I have to re-check the document after changes.

Changing the language to some different value came into my mind but

* what language would be a wise choice,
* is this a wise approach at all,
* are there better ways?

I also wonder whether it is better to have spell-checking in comments and
notes or not:

* Sometimes the notes contain text that is temporarily stored away,
* sometimes they contain abbreviations, file-names, tags and other
  non-orthographic strings.

Personally, I'd favour exclusion of Notes.
