index format

2015-09-21 Thread John White
As it sits, I get index entries that look like this.

"Anse v District Court, 192 P.3d 738 (Nev 2008), 14"

I would like the entry to look like this:

"Anse v District Court, 192 P.3d 738 (Nev 2008) . . . . . . . . . . .
14"

Any thoughts?

I run lyx 2.1.2 on Debian Jessie, using makeindex.

John

You need to use an "index style file" that does this formatting. The one
provided by the "Oscola" package should suit your needs:
http://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/biblatex-contrib/oscola/oscola.ist

Given that your index style file is saved as "oscola.ist" in your TeX directory
(which is the case if you have installed the Oscola package), you can use it
by adding

-s oscola.ist

to Document > Settings > Index > Options. I suggest you also select
"makeindex" from the "Index Processor" combo box to make sure makeindex is
really used.

controlling index format in LyX 1.4

2006-03-14 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Is there a way to (easily) change the index font in LyX 1.4? From the release
notes, it seems that there should be more control over how the index is
generated in LyX 1.4, but I haven't found any documentation on how to do this
(my apologies if I've overlooked it).

Thanks.

If you mean TOC, with titletoc package you get total
control of TOC, but isn´t easy.

Thanks, but I mean the index as produced by makeindex.

Thanks, but I mean the index as produced by makeindex.

You can change the font used by makeindex in LyX simply by dragging
across the Index button that you inserted and change the font. This
will apply to the font change to every item in the index

For more sophisticated changes, I wrote a wrapper to beautify the
output makeindex, and integrated it into my personal version of
http://wiki.lyx.org/Tools/LyX-GrammarChecker

If you are interested, I can mail it to you

How to change index-format

2004-12-13 Thread Thomas Müller
Hi, i have some Problems with indexing (Stichwortverzeichnis).

Is it possible to display an index like that

Apple..12
Banana
Banana in Chapter 1 ...15,22
Banana in Chapter 2 ...23
Banana in Chapter history ..55
Banana in Chapter pictures ..99

Etc, but actually it should not display Chapter 1 but the name of the
Chapter? I now its possible to use something like banana!tropical but i want
it done automaticly. (Actually i need it for sub-chapters if that makes a
difference)

Any help would be appreciated.
