I would like to cross reference item of a numbered list that is part of the
inline text, standard mode.
First, i think, a method for including enumeration in line should be used.
Is that possible?

There's a LaTeX package---I can't now remember which one---that sets
lists inline. Oh, I think maybe it's paralist, but
