installing (1.3.0) Thesaurus mini-bug?
Hello, I've just finished installing Lyx-1.3.0 and intend to check it out. However, I've had one problem of installing Lyx with the thesaurus. I installed Aiksaurus (Aiksaurus-0.15-1rh80.i386.rpm from the Lyx ftp site). However during the make process Lyx complained that it couldn't find /usr/lib/libAiksaurus.so. To solve this I creadted alink libAiksaurus.so to libAiksaurus.so.0 (well actually to /usr/lib/libAiksaurus.so.0.15). This does not mean that libAiksaurus.so.0 is not needed, since when starting lyx it looks for libAiksaurus.so.0. I don't know if this is an Aiksaurus or lyx bug (or maybe just mine). I hope this helps any one, Amir. P.S. I'm assuming this problem also exists in other (1.2.x) versions since my thesaurus didn't work there either.
