MacPro1,1 Dual-Core Intel Xeon
OS X 10.7.5

LyX started right up. Works great on older machine.

I have just downloaded and installed Lyx in the Applications folder and it
has started without any problem.
I use TexLIve 2013.

FYI, these look like problems when running the LyX's configure script. 
One possible casue is some kind of incompatibility in python versions. 
But it is hard to know for sure. I'd definitely suggest trying to run 
LyX from a terminal and seeing if you get more info.

FYI, these look like problems when running the LyX's configure script. 
One possible casue is some kind of incompatibility in python versions. 
But it is hard to know for sure. I'd definitely suggest trying to run 
LyX from a terminal and seeing if you get more info.
