From what I see, Optima is a great sans match for Palatino (or Pagella). They are so very similar, although one is ostensibly a serif, and the other a sans. But although I follow the instructions and load it via \renewcommand*\sfdefault{uop} or \renewcommand{\sfdefault}{uop} , LyX fails to include the font and chooses some unnamed sans font (see [2] and attached .lyx and .png). Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
