Preserving math format with copy/paste between lyx windows

Hello -- I'm running lyx 1.4.3 on Windoze. It's a simple matter to copy paste between two Lyx windows, but when I copy a section of text that includes math mode formulas then the mathematics appears as regular text (using the paste external selection option, or ctrl-V). Am I doing something

Hi, I use lyx 1.3.6 on suse 10.1 and I have a 200 page document in book format When I compile the document there is the title page with the Title, Author, Date, etc, but I want to remove Date. Does somebody how to do this in LyX ? Thanks. Horacio.
