I do appreciate your help. Yes I took your advise and looked at Tikz, yes
indeed it works fine with latexpdf and although somewhat complicated to
understand at the beginning, by trail and error I managed to produce almost
what I needed.

trying to incorporate into LyX layout is accompanied by a description of the
class file.
I did some configuration so that get the liuthesis.layout in
Document-settings-Document class option combox box. I believe
You can do that, not exclusively, with the freeware program Dia. If you want my
help, ¿can you scan a pencil design of your circuit and send it to my personnal
e-mail?
