Hi,
after installation of LyY 2.0.0rc1-2 on my WinVista machine the symbol
(blue L) for LyX files has disappeared in the explorer, whereas the
application to files with extension .lyx is LyX. Moreover in the list of

\usepackage[italian]{babel}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[left,modulo]{lineno}

After upgrading, did you remove the previous version of MiKTeX from your system?
Create a short test document in LyX and export it in LaTeX (pdflatex). Take a

\definecolor{shadecolor}{rgb}{0,0,0}
But I

I removed lyx and MiKTeX then reinstalled MiKTeX followed by lyx.
Take a look at the .tex file and make sure that there are spaces between the
words.
Definitely spaces
