direct inkscape layer support in lyx

Hi all, I have a question regarding inkscape. Let's say I have an inkscape drawing with multiple layers. When I import the svg into lyx, can I specify the layers that get shown? This way I can do animation with beamer for example. Thanks! Qiqi
