repeated bibtex entry on 2.1-rc1

2014-04-08 Thread Xuchen Yao
Hi, I have multiple bibtex files included with the natbib package, some of them contain duplicate entries. On compiling, I got error on "repeated bibtex entry". I have two Mac's with Lyx installed: 1 has pdfTeX 3.1415926-1.40.11-2.2 (TeX Live 2010), with both Lyx 2.0.7.1 and 2.1rc1 installed.

Thanks! Then why didn't the same error show up on the first machine with also LyX2.1rc but TexLive 2010? I'm actually leaning against fixing this duplicate entry problem from the source file: in scientific collaboration it is often that co-authors have duplicate entries from their own bib files.

Alrighty, no matter how the final decision goes, I'll be excited to embrace the 2.1 version. Alternatively, I guess the solution can't be as easy as providing a catch-bibtex-error switch in the preferences setting. :P Xuchen On Tue, Apr 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM, Jürgen Spitzmüller

Dear lyxers! Is there a better way to switch between enumerated lists from a); b) ... to 1.; 2. ... and so on without the need of the tex hack \renewcommand{\labelenumi{alph | roman | arabic{enumi}} ) | . | .- | - } ??? Shouldn't there exists a gui to handle this??? Regards Alex
