If I am correct, there is no more language default option.
By default, it is "English", generating documentclass with english.
Can I avoid this?

Changing $PWD to /usr/local/texlive/2023/bin/x86_64-linux/ I run

Installed are lyx-2.3.6.1-x86_64-1_SBo and TexLive2023.
Configuring a new book document using the memoir class the bibliography
dialog box has made all biblatex choices unavailable (see attached screen
