however, a lot of the figures end up in a group at the end of the
chapter, even with the same settings, and even if I change them to be
'here definitely'.

not linked so I added some directories to the
DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable, but it didnt change anything.

I have incorrectly displayed fonts when I view or update PDF from LyX
with Skim or Preview but not Adobe Reader. I need to then quit all
open applications and kill the ATSServer as discussed in
