You can try http://www.18james.com/utilities#icon which will point you to envelope.icn, a little program written in the Icon language that will automatically print an envelope, with the USPS barcode, from LyX, LaTeX, or troff. I meant to translate the program to perl long ago, and never got around to it. Icon is available from http://www.cs.arizona.edu/icon/ for most operating systems.
