The only strange thing is the version number of the setspace.sty file, which may make problems (only one digit in the day part). You might get an updated version from ftp://ftp.loria.fr/pub/unix/tex/ctan/macros/latex/contrib/supported/setspace/setspace.sty or any ctan mirror nerer from your site. You should place the file at /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc/setspace.sty. Hope this helps. JMarc

I compiled 1.0.2pre3 again with the new versions of tetex and I get the same error. I guess I will just have to live with this "feature". I also used my the first four Gnomeish images (cut, copy, open, emph) that I converted for my personal version of LyX so that it matches the rest of my gtk+ apps. describe. In fact, I even took the latest CVS snapshot and the
lyx.spec file and generated a quick lyx-1.0.2pre4-1 RPM and installed
that and was not able to reproduce the problem.
It might be your TeX. Have you tried running the Options-Reconfigure
to see if that fixes anything?
You might also try looking at ``Help-LaTeX Configuration'' to see if
it reveals anything strange.
