Tables' numbers lyx-PDF file

Hello everybody

I have a problem with lyx. when i draw a numbered table lyx works and gives
it a correct number. the same for the next table. But when i view the lyx
file as PDF file and take a look to the tables' numbers i notice that all
the tables, of a same chapter, get the same number. I mean that when i write
in lyx chapter 4-section 3(for istance) and put 2 tables that are numbered
automatically as table 6 and table 7, then when i update the PDF, i
notice that the 2 tables get the same number like table 4.2. i cannot
understand the reason. can anyone help me?? it very important. i am using it
for my Thesis.

You've sent your message two times.

Please try to save and close your lyx document. Then open it again and
click View PDF (pdflatex) to get whole document compiled again. If
your problem is related to number of latex executions, it may help.

Then report if your problem persists, giving us your platform and LyX
version you're using.
