This allows a choice between document classes supported by LyX.

This looks like your class is unknown to LyX. Have a look at
Help>Customization to see how to make it known by writing a *.layout
file.

Hi,

I need to import a latex document to lyx. It turned out not be working since
a new class file is used in the latex file. As I remember, in old version of
lyx, user can define the document class in document setting. It's not
allowed to do so now. My question is how can I import a latex file with a
new latex class included. Thanks for your help.
