I use Windows 10 (64 bit). I reinstalled the ttf fonts of lyx, which worked for 
me. I did not have this problem in my previous laptop with Windows 7.

What operating system do you use? If it's a version of Linux, do you

Can you please send an example .lyx file to the list with a simple "Pi"
that does not show up for you? What operating system do you use?

example, the Greek letter "Pi" shows up as Q. Though, the font shows up
correctly when I compile the file.
