Sorry James I had intended to direct my response to Charles. Though it's
probably applicable to everybody.

Thanks Stephen.
Is there a description of REXCPM somewhere?
Definitely interested in one; I can put my current REX (still running
4.8) in my backup M100.

I was just reading the wiki about this device. Has anyone seen one of these
in the wild? I couldn't seem to find any actual photos.

I think it was discussed on the list recently that Virtual-T does the
conversion automagically for you. On the Model 100 itself
I'll have to look at the Wiki, would be happy to contribute where I can. I
don't mind watching YouTube, but I feel there are plenty of people on there
without adding my voice. Besides I prefer contributing to the written word,

These days youtube is a great way to share the hobby. If you do something
tricky or interesting you could try your hand at that.

FYI arcadeshopper.com has the 8K RAM modules for the model 10x.

Well said, likewise I'm hoping to cover more in Model 100 material on my
blog. If for nothing else than to keep a record of my activities and maybe
get others interested in this great computer.

In December of 2018 I got my first M100, which was my first TRS-anything.
I remember I posted on VCFED asking for advice on how to care and feed the
little monster. I remember Mike Stein pointing me to Club100 and to
Bitchin100. I remember all the help and advice you people have given me

Hello,
This is how I connect a Raspberry Pi to my M100, the little board even looks
the same. You can get 5v from the Pi GPIO bus, and the tx, rx, and gnd.
It seems to do OK with the M100 almost RS-232 levels. It doesn't handshake
though, but I just run at slower speeds if I'm using the
HI Jim,
The newest version of REX, REXCPM, is nearing completion. Just sorting out
the last details for manufacturing a reasonable quantity now.

I've been working on my Raspberry Pi recently, trying to connect it to
an Adafruit FONA cellular module.
The primary communication has been through TTL serial between the two.
Recently, I reluctantly switched to USB connection, for speed, which
freed up the serial pins on the Pi and on the
Okay, as I mentioned in the email I just posted, I've been fafiated*,
and just dug out Virtual-T.
I came across an old basic program listing (not my own) I'd like to try
installing on my M100. It's 8K, so it should fit, but it's in text
format, meant for another system The original code dates
Doh... I renamed the game file extension from .bas to .ba, loaded it

Which is great, but leaves me without a project.
Not really; I need to reformat it for the 40 column screen, add in an
option to exit mid-game, things like that.
Oh...
I just realized that, after a hard drive crash awhile back, I have
LaddieAlpha on my desktop, but not Virtual-T.
So I corrected this by creating a shortcut, but I noticed the datestamp
on the Virtual-T executable is 2013.
Upon running it, I discover it's version 1.5. Is this the current
