Oops yeah I didn't notice Ken accidentally sent it to the list admins instead of the list. In my reply I mentioned the card sound does come through on CloudT for those that don't have their laptop handy. CloudT implements enough sound support to work for BEEP and SOUND at least. You just need to

Thank you Brian! And you too Steve for the assist. I'm not actually sure it is even hiting the highest notes. I didn't actually code up all the numbers in the BASIC program and instead wrote a C program that generated the BASIC. I entered the song from sheet music into a text file and then

Well what's a little holiday without some hardware to fix! I think how i would tackle this is to trace the positive voltage from battery through to the transformer. See if there is a place where positive voltage is missing. If that looks good then the transformer circuit must not be

So I decided to try recapping one of my two Model 100s. The ones I replaced all looked okay, no sign of leakage; I replaced the batter which did have some corrosion on it. I used a Model 100 recap kit, but as the voltages didn't match on some of the caps, I decided not to replace those.

This is a fairly common occurrence. The lead/tin solder of the via starts to corrode which causes it to expand very slightly. This lifts the edge of the solder mask and the corrosion works its way underneath. The same thing happens if you get a deep scratch on your car. I had the same
