CAD may be useful, but I think you’ll find that the 3-printer boom uses 
scanners for much of the work being done. The scanners run about as much again 
as the comparable printers;  the larger $2,500 ~ $5000 models have the capacity 
for typical work, like 3 x 3 x 3 ft.  Again, service bureaus so equipped are 
widely available;  see 3-D Hub sites.

 
Re screen for the Model T 100+, does the projection beam (as in wireless 
printer link) not offer possibility ?  A presentation screen sensitized to show 
black down through greys in reaction to the infrared image would seem feasible; 
 very possibly, even a range through the color spectrum  as well, all rather 
than reflecting the visual wavelengths enlarged on today’ s presentation screen.
