CAD may be useful, but I think you’ll find that the 3-printer boom uses scanners for much of the work being done. The scanners run about as much again as the comparable printers; the larger $2,500 ~ $5000 models have the capacity for typical work, like 3 x 3 x 3 ft. Again, service bureaus so equipped are widely available; see 3-D Hub sites.
Re screen for the Model T 100+, does the projection beam (as in wireless printer link) not offer possibility ? A presentation screen sensitized to show black down through greys in reaction to the infrared image would seem feasible; very possibly, even a range through the color spectrum as well, all rather than reflecting the visual wavelengths enlarged on today’ s presentation screen. > On May 18, 2015, at 4:13 PM, Jeff Gonzales <gonzobra...@gmail.com> wrote: > > any suggestions for basic CAD learning resources? > > On Mon, May 18, 2015 at 1:09 PM, Peter Vollan <dprogra...@gmail.com > <mailto:dprogra...@gmail.com>> wrote: > Well then you learn.
