UTF-8 isn't enough to make it work if you're remoted into a Linux box, you
also need to scrub out ANSI escapes.
Not to far back there was a discussion about converting non printable UTF-8
characters to readable characters on the model-t. Was a database ever created
with this information?

Well with HTERM and a your bridge it should all just work. HTERM
With HTerm it does work much better than TELCOM. What I meant by a letdown was
that the 40x8 screen really needs something specifically tailored to the size.
Even with the T200 it's barely enough to make pine usable for email.

Well there have been 60 column fonts and code made for m100. Maybe that
could be integrated in.
Or, some kind of sliding window thing.
Vi seemed ok. Mutt worked fine but in the end 40 columns is just not a lot
of space.
