I was able to reach Tom Anderson about registering TASM. The email address that
Wil found was good, I have copied it below. I have been able to build this in
VS2017 (must be in release mode). The code is easy enough to follow, good
comments, etc. It does not have the ability to natively handle
So I got a "new" M100 and it works great. Opened it up to replace the
battery and the capacitors. But I noticed the following "leakage" which I
don't recall seeing covered in any videos.
I think this is X1, which is a crystal.

That is glue, to keep the crystal from vibrating when handling/using the laptop
and snapping the legs off. Itβs fine, no need to do anything.
