Oh! That makes sense. It seemed to be sending a lot if garbage. But if it had switched to 9600 that explains a lot. Yeah I'd be interested in a new version if you make one. -- John.

so I understand now that I need to make an improvement to N502B5. The error I see primarily is due to newdos timing out and switching to 9600. that's a useless function now so I will take that out. other than that, it does seem possible to put laddiealpha into a hung state where I need to restart
