Re: [M100] april 1st
Very nice! I've had mine in for taking notes. Re: [M100] april 1st
I should have brought mine into work and asked the tech department to get it hooked up to the WiFi. [M100] april 1st
So I had this great April Fools thing planned - I had a 10am meeting with several coworkers and an external consultant, and I normally bring my laptop into meetings to take notes (because my memory is horrible). I was going to whip out my model 200 and use it to take notes, and if anybody asked I was going to say 'yeah, my boss just got this for me, it's so great! It lasts forever on AA batteries, and there are no distractions...' Sadly, the meeting got cancelled. jim

Re: [M100] Out from storage
Control+ break+ reset Depending on how long it was in storage, I'd give it a day. Make sure you turn the memory power switch back on. [M100] Out from storage
Pulling some Model Ts out from storage. What was the cold boot routine again? I thought it was hold down GRPH, CTRL, ESC and power one? How long does it take the internal 3v NiCad to pickup a charge again? Plug in overnight? Do I need to remove the Option Rom for first reboot?

But it has no tolerance for bugs in its .CO files at all! Any mistake, and it's a visit to Cold Start City. :-( It really seems like it has some rules about binary files that were never explained... Sometimes a binary will run directly from the RAM disk, and other times it will only run from main memory... Binaries tend to change size as they get copied between PDD/RAMdisk/memory. It's very frustrating. Willard -- Willard Goosey goo...@sdc.org Socorro, New Mexico, USA I search my heart and find Cimmeria, land of Darkness and the Night. --Robert E. Howard
