Club 100’s site is clear on how to do that. I may try it. You’re right -
it would have been so nice to have the jumper wire locations easily
accessible - even to have had actual jumpers to just add or remove as
desired.

John, you were right... The screen flashing was just due to a low
(actually, none installed) backup battery. The WP-2 arrived today and is
in practically pristine cosmetic shape and seemingly perfect working order
- a lucky find for a very reasonable price. I will want to upgrade the
RAM, but
