There are issues with "bigger ISPs" who will arbitrarily block emails
on
a whim (I used to see this a lot in my older job as ISP admin [1]).
I've had
issues in the past with Comcast, yahoo, MS and Gmail. Gmail seems to
have
come good, others not so much. None of them will give you feedback
if you

ask why email isn't getting through, except "unspecified reasons".

[1] - as a result, I run my own email infrastructure now. Just
having access
to the logs when someone says they sent you an email, and you can
determine
whether their mail server even attempted to send to your mail server
has

proven beneficial (to me) in the past. YMWV.

Me too.  I like seeing my own posts but never do despite seeing them in the
past and setting the option.
I get a notice that my message has posted but never see it.

I believe whether you see your own posts is an option in your account setup,
but I've also noticed that occasionally it doesn't seem to follow the rules
you've set. m - Original Message -

By default messages are not echoed to you.

Your MUA should thread your emails together with responses. So you may not
see emails you sent until or unless someone replies to you.

We really haven't had many issues with the list and it's been running for
years.

Welcome to the list Steve!

We're a friendly bunch, we try to keep the atmosphere positive. Main rules
here are just be nice, no profanity, no politics, spam or generally off
topic stuff.

Other than that, fire away with the questions :-) We have about 300 members
according to GNU Mailman..
