Hello everybody
I am pleased to be able to repot that I am now at an advanced stage of
producing an accessible and complete catalogue of the Take Control
publications. This catalogue has been tested by an external and independent
VoiceOver user whose judgement we know to be sound. The document
Hi All
I've tried out the search function on the iPad's app store running iOS 6
again and still it is not accessible with Voiceover. I've had a sighted
person look at the screen and the way to navigate through the search results
on the iPad remains the same as in iOS 5, meaning that all results
I don't know if it is just me, but with my iPhone 4 and IOS 6, I have such a
problem, I search for something, and it only shows one result, and I don't
know how to get the rest of the results.

Try the following:
1. After performing your search, do a one-finger swipe right until you pass the
screenshots for the current App.
2. You should land on an item that announces the name of the current App and
it's place in the list of results. For
That's it exactly. I'll keep that email address you gave me and maybe send

There is a picker just above the five tabs at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe up to go through the results. This is where iPhone users are lucky as
this picker works. Unfortunately there is no such picker on the iPad.

Yes, this is correct. Dictation works on the latest versions of the iPod touch,
iPhone and iPad just the same as in Mountain lion.

Afternoon all,
The subject says it all really. I'm interested in procuring an HTML editor for
mac. I've downloaded the Coda 2 editor, and I've heard good things about Taco.
However, my problem with Taco is that the default new file is HTML not XHTML
and I can't find a way to change it.

I look forward to seeing this catalog. I would like to buy and read some of
these take control books, but the means of buying and recieving them seems
fraut with problems. It's probably just my perception, but all I want is to
be able to buy the book, download it to my machine and read it like
Hello everybody
Alright, I hope this meets with your approval. I have done my very best to
ensure that this document is both accessible and informative. I hope also that
this document will fill the void for those of you who are interested in the

Hi Paul,
To add to what Josh said, the dictation feature was added for the iPhone 4S,
and appears on devices that were released since then, such as the third
generation iPad and the recent releases of the iPhone 5, fifth generation iPod
Touch, and new iPads (mini and fourth generation). It
I'm just curious, do we recieve the book as a PDF document or some other
format for storage and reading on our own machines, or are we required to
read the books online? It doesn't seem to be spelled out anywhere that I can
find.

You have a very misguided or missinformed impression of what we have to offer.
If you look at the catalogue you will understand that you do not download the
books or buy them from the TC website, you buy them them from us. You also get

I received this today after only ordering it yesterday. I got it
directly from Apple.
It was very easy to set up. Just press the one and only large round
button on the top right hand side to put it in pairing or discovery
mode. Then on my iPhone 4 I went to settings, bluetooth, bluetooth to
No offense intended, I just remember some list chatter about having trouble
with the accessibility of the TC books. This is why I asked.

Siri's volume is adjusted separately from regular voiceover volume. Two
adjusted, use the volume control once you've activated Siri, presumably when it
is actually speaking so you can get a measure of how loud it is.
Hope this helps,
Zack.
