Dónal,
I think it is something like:
Option-key u, followed by the vowel you require.

Hi Roger,
That’s exactly what I thought, and thanks for confirming. However when I do
option-u, I get the ú character.
Thank you,

Hi Dónal,
Roger is correct, for an English language input keyboard you should be able to
type Option-key u, followed by the letter you want to be accented (e.g., a u
if you want to type a u with an umlaut, or ü). Has this changed under
Mavericks? Or might you have a different input language

Hi Esther,
I just checked and the locale was in fact set to Irish where option-u presents
the ú character. Switching to British did indeed produce the character as your
archived post suggested. It’s interesting as this is one of the first
differences between the two keyboards that I’ve
Hi Dónal,
On an Irish input language keyboard you'll need to use the 8 key on the
number row instead of the u key to type an umlaut. So you would press
Option-key+8 and then press the key for the letter you want accented (e.g., a
u if you want to type a u with an umlaut over it as in ü -- or
Hi Esther,
yes messing with those option key commands can be lots of fun :-) I didn’t
know the 8 key did that.

I personally love voice-dream, because of the many file formats it supports,
and the many voices, although I really wish it supported eSpeak for other
languages, such as Esperanto, which Neospeech and Acapella, to my knowledge, do
not have.

Hmm! That's weird! ctrl+Tab should definitely be working.

Hello Folks,
I thought I posted this a few days ago. This has been the first time that I
created a contact group in the native contact app on the Air. I didn't realize
that the untitled edit field could be replace to customize it. Hence, the
contact group was created with no name. Is there a
I believe you hit enter on the group's name and type in the new one. then hit
enter after you are done. Let us know if that fails.

Ok. I think I solved it. What I had to do was pair the phone with my mac first
which is contrary with the directions of type to phone, then I had to hit the
connect button and it found my device. Odd that I have to do it this way but it
worked, for now. We'll see if this changes in the next few

Hit the tab key once and you should hear the name of the group as it stands at
the moment, with VO confirming it as an edit field.
Just start to type the new name, and it will replace the old one.

Do you mean that you went to System Preferences Bluetooth to find and pair

Yeah that's what I had to do. I got a new phone as mine bit the dust. It works
so far now so we'll see what happens in the next few days of testing.
Take care.

Ah. I usually just hit enter. and rename it that way. no need for the tab key,
and it's quicker. Try both ways and see what happens.
Goos luck.

It seems that since upgrading to Mavericks, I can’t open a pls stream from

Hello,
Thanks to all. These suggestions seemed to have worked. Now another question.
How do you view the contacts in that group? I just wanted to make sure that the
renamed group had the correct group members.
Thanks.

George, are you sure Tweetlist has not been updated for iOS 7? The version 4.0
release of the old Tweetlist app dated November 20, 2013 is described as
optimized for iOS 7. They also launched a new Tweetlist 4 for Twitter app
(that requires iOS 7.0) at the sale price of $2.99.
Cheers,
Yes they have. You missed their blog post. they have tweet list I thunk it's
4 for some price, and they use box car for push.

I can't comment on this myself.
All I know is that Tweetlist works and I have automatic updates enabled on my

I used Twitterific for a while but didn't much like the Interface though
there's no doubt its a very nice Twitter client, just personal preference so I

Well if they have, I have not seen it.
I've got it on the ipad.
I've just checked my version, Ive got version, 3. 55.

Hi George,
If you're running the iPhone Tweetlist app on your iPad, I don't know whether
the updates would show up automatically for you under iOS 7 unless you looked
under iPhone apps. What happens when you check the following link (assuming
this is the app that you bought)?
