I have had no region issues using VLC. I am not sure if this is because I
installed handbrake as well. In any case the warning messages have stopped
since I switched to using VLC.

Hello,
I think the problem arises because all the rows in my spreadsheet are
considered header rows. Not sure how that happened but tinkering with the
header submenu of the table menu fixes the problem.
