Hello
Hello y'all,
Seems I've constantly had this problem. I cannot access my verizon
account on either my cell or my computer. What the problem seems to be is
this. I can fill in the box that asks for your username. But then, when I
get to the password, the edit box doesn't seem to appear, no
I'm really not sure what yall's problem is. All I know is what I got. Keyboard
shortcuts in gmail 1s on. Mail per page is 100. That's all I know.

Hi Sarah and Others,
As a side effect of checking out Sarah's question about IPA symbols for
phonetic representation, I notice that under iOS 7 the individual phonetic
characters for pronouncing words in dictionary entries can now be read out by
VoiceOver. For example, if you have downloaded
Sorry about, this. I did draft up a partial reply about phonetic symbols now
being spoken by VoiceOver under iOS 7 last fall, but I didn't mean to send it
out now. However, this is one of the features that I've noticed under iOS 7,
along with more symbols in general being recognized by
Hello Listers,
I was trying to connect a bluetooth speaker today and when I went to Bluetooth
PReferences there was no “add device” button. Has its location changed in
Mavericks? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Go to system preferences then go to bluetooth then you should see a list of
devices including the one you want to pair if you don’t see you’re device in
the list move you’re device closer to you’re mac so the mac can see you’re
device also make sure you’re device is in pairing mode. Then once
thanks for this link again, Ann!
I had it bookmarked on my mac when I was running snow leopard, but lost it and
then couldn’t remember which paper it came from!
did you notice that they have a “blind/ps” version, at least of the quick
crossword?

Hello Caitlyn,
Yes, there’s the blind/PS version, but I think it just gives you the
information to set up the crossword on a crossword board, which is the way I
used to do them until the standard version became accessible. I like the fact
that I can check that I’ve got the right answer, and
What you need to do is hit continue, it will then prompt you for your password.

Maybe that's our issue. How do you turn key board shortcuts on? Maybe that's
the difference between your set up and all of ours?
Take care.

This might be practically impossible, the standard Gmail view really is not

Thanks. I guess when you open Bluetooth preferences it automatically tries to
pair. (New Mavericks behavior) I am trying to connect a bose soundlink speaker.
When i hold down the pair button for 5 seconds and let go, that doesn’t seem to
put it into the list of available devices. Anyone
Pull up a list of links with vo u and left arrow to links if you are not on
that, then hit b a s and you will get to the basic html area. I can use the
standard view pretty well actually except for this and Iuse nothing but that
now a days.
Take care.

Ok. what happens if you vo right after ending your user name. I think if I
remember correctly you have to hit sign in which seems odd but if you do this,
you can enter in your password. I'm speaking from the experience that I saw a
friend go through to sing in to their VZ account.

I'll try but if I'm not mistaken, well, I didn't get anywhere, but I will

Okay, now, this is interesting. On my new computer, I could access the my
verizon. I could see the continue button and hit it. It's a very very
awkward way they've got that sign in thing up there.
Thanks,
Brenda

Hello Desi,
In the Edit menu, go to Substitutions and in the submenu, uncheck Smart Quotes.
