At the risk of sounding overly simplistic, have you tried rebooting windows?
Sometimes weird stuff happens and rebooting is the inelegant but effective
solution. It could well be that the windows side speakers got muted somehow.

Tha'ts odd. I don't have these issues. Try reinstallign skype and see if that
happens again. If it does find the ear peace button double tap it and tap
speaker. Youwill need to turn the hand set up as you are in hand set mode.

What you need is the lcd section. I set a hot spot for it so I could easily get
to it. while focusedd there hit vi shift and any number from 1 to 9 on the
number row. Then every time you want to get there just hit that and you will be
taken to the lcd section.

I believe ther's a setting under mail prefs but I really don't remember what it
is. sorry I can't be of any help but I believe someone else had this problem
on the list years ago and it was never solved.
