Hello to all. I'm having a strange issue with my trash. I have no clue when it
started probably yesterday. basically I can't remove anything. I see the items
on the drive I want to remove but when I do a cmd del I get this.
The operation can’t be completed because one or more required items
have you plugged in all drives particularly the one you are deleting from?as I
know you are quite an expert on the Mac I am wondering have you googled the
error?

I can't reboot until I finish this huge dl of 180 gigs usign lftp, but that
will be my next step to try. I'm doing a time machine back up tough just in
case, and no, I'm not deleting the .trashes folder as that might brake my
system more then it is already broken.

I did google the error and tried the steps outlined which envolved repairing
the disk itself, but the disk is ok, so now I'm even more stumpped. My internal
volume is ok though I already tested this.

You can see the Trash folder by using the goto option from the go menu in
Finder. I'm just not sure if it's advisable to just delete the whole folder.
Did you try resetting permissions from the reset password dialog in the
recovery HD? A long shot, but just a thought.
Take Care
