but it's been about 2 years since I had the app so a lot might have changed.

Thanks for the copy clip recommendation.
I downloaded the app, but I can’t see how it works. I see it in the menu bar,
but I can not see where tor retrieve the clips. I see that there is something
that says “your clip hints will apear here” but nothing else.

As an instructor, I tend to use the copy feature of the iOS quite a bit,
however, I use copy clip. This application does he sensually what you're
looking for.
