Hello,
I have an iPhone 5S which I recently upgraded from IOS 8.1.1 to IOS 8.1.2.
Since the upgrade all my pedometer Apps are showing my step count about 25%
higher than for the same walk distance (approximately) for IOS 8.1.1. Do others
notice this and if so is there anything I can do about it? Also which is the
true step count - the IOS 8.1.1 version or the IOS 8.1.2 version? I like the
IOS 8.1.2 version better as it is easier to reach my daily goal of 10,000 steps
but wishful thinking will not enhance fitness!

Note that I put my iPhone in my trouser side pocket while walking. Perhaps it
would give a more accurate result if put somewhere else?

Best regards….
