lol. I make a copy of the app file then move it to my external drive renaming
it. I have this way 10.8.1, 10.8.2 and 10.8.3.
I did this for 10.7.1, 10.7.2 and 10.7.3 before I upgraded to 10.8.

It should be in your applications folder. That's where all Mac App store
downloads go.
