Tempo Perfect is a great metronome app. The reason I suggested using GigBabyFree! instead in an earlier reply is that I prefer to use rhythm or music tracks for exercise sessions, and this app lets you either use a straight metronome or play a backing rhythm track of your choice at the beat

Actually it;s pretty close so it should be fine. 60 is about the speed of a clock so you can gage your stuff by that if you need to. 120 of corse is double and 30 is half as fast as the clock speed. Good luck and hope tempo perfect helps. It helps me like I said in my music so it might help in

Tempo Perfect by nch software is an excellent metronome for the IOS platform. They probably have a version for Mac OSX as well. Of course, it deals with beats per minute, not revolutions per minute, but that's not a big problem as I think you just want a steady beat that can be adjusted faster
