I’ve been able to download and install the latest 5.2.3 Macupdate Desktop
package, but on first launch it simply goes into a non-responding state. I’ve
tried launching with VO off but after I toggle VO
As a follow-up to my own question, here is the response sent quickly from the
Macupdate Developer. They are aware of the issue and are working on it.

Yeah thanks to me actually. I was the only one who reported the issue as far as
I am aware. Before friday last, they were not aware of the issue. I have no
clue if it is really a voice over issue and told them as such. I also provided
them with logs and stuff that might hep them troubleshoot
