I still use Nisus Writer Pro, for me its a question of layout more than anything else now that Pages has come a long way in a short space of time, try Nisus and you'll see what I mean. There there are times when Pages, Text Edit, iText Express etc won't read a document correctly with Voiceover

Yep, I agree pretty much with that though the scripting of Nisus does make it stand out, you can get a whole heap of scripts from the Nisus web site to try out and modify to your liking. Interestingly Nisus Writer Pro contains a lot of code used in Open Office, haven't used Open Office
