Hi Chris
My only suggestion is that you can feel the fan and HD activity until your
machine is shut down. No, VoiceOver often goes down some time before the
machine because the OS does a bit of housekeeping b

Also we should factor in that Mac has a fast shutdown. It's a lot faster than

In practice I have not found this to be a problem as generally the Mac
shuts down a lot quicker. ON my IMac I do not shut down but morally put it
to sleep with command option escape and it is startlingly quick, pretty
is the case, how on earth do we know if the Mac is shutting down?
Does VoiceOver stay until it is about to be turned off? Kind of like how iOS
devices do it? Thanks!

Yeah that'd be nice. That was one of the things that I noticed that
was different from windows. But sadly, I don't think there is.

Hi Josh and Chris
No, this cannot be done. But personally, I don't think it's really an issue.
Maybe it's just that I've grown so accustomed to Mac OS, or maybe it's just my
in-built dislike of Windows. I use it because I have too now and then, and it
looks as though I'll have too for work,
