If the audio book you are trying to play has m3u files, use those,
that will fix the ordering right away. If it's a commercial release,
believe it or not, a lot of the commercial audio book publishers
provide daisy book format files on the mp3 cds. I know brilliance
audio does, because

Hi there is also cog, that is the one I use, The only problem with it is it
does not remember your posision so if you don't press space to pause the track
it won't remember next time. I like cog because it's easy to use.

I have no issues with iTunes. I just make sure my stuff is int he right order
by either labeling tracks or merging all in to 1 single m4b file, or sorting
the columns with the vo shift back slash key.
Take care.

No you cannot, not in iTunes anyways but I really don't need them as I just
remember the last thing hear, plus it keeps your position should you close
iTunes in the middle of a m4b file.

Hi,
Their is an app called, audio book maker.
http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/stat?id=NXRC4Doe7/Eofferid=146261type=3subid=0tmpid=1826RD_PARM1=https%253A%252F%252Fitunes.apple.com%252Fus%252Fapp%252Faudiobook-maker%252Fid449785660%253Fmt%253D12%2526uo%253D4%2526partnerId%253D30
George,
I've heard of it. I use book binder and it works pretty good, but ti won't
merge more then about 20 hours of book at a time though.
Take care.

got a question though. Is there a way to jump from chapter to chapter in an m4b
audio book in iTunes? ? I could never do that but maybe it's just a picnic
error. Heha.
Take care.

Hi Sarah,
I think the shortcut to jump to the next chapter in an audiobook is
Command-Shift-Right Arrow, and it's Command-Shift-Left arrow to move to the
previous chapter. This shortcut works whether or not the the track is current
playing, as long as it is selected. I also have a RestartAt
