Hello George, Michael, and Others,
In Mavericks, you turn on multiple text selection after interacting with the
list or table with VO-Command-Return (or as Zack says, "vo-cmd-enter"). You
select individual items with VO-Return.
A good place to check commands is the Appendix A list of Commands

I personally liked the older way, in ml. Just vo cmd space twice on the first
item then vo down and vo space on any other things. It worked good. why they
had to change it I have no idea. Ah well.

Michael,
If you moved using voice over commands, you do not need to turn off cursor
tracking. Turning on multiple selection mode automatically does this.
Best,
Zack.

Hi,
I meant vo-cmd-enter and vo-enter. They changed it because vo-cmd-space now
opens the actions menu, which is a new feature.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Michael,
The command changed to vo-cmd-enter to toggle and vi-enter to select individual
items.
Best,
Zack.

i’m having a bit of a problem. in mountain lion i could interact with a list of
files, turn cursor tracking off and select files by hitting VO command space.
if i had tracks 1 through 10 and i wanted tracks 3, 6, 8, and 10 this command
was perfect. in mavrics i can’t seem to get it
