It sounds like almost certainly the Mac is looking for a Bluetooth device, either a magic trackpad, wireless mouse or Bluetooth keyboard. In theory these devices should already be paired if you have bought this Imac from Apple. Have you tried the keyboard? Specifically using control option left

Hi Everyone, Is there a way to synchronize email messages between my MacBook and iPhone? If I delete email messages from my iPhone, they show up on my MacBook when i connect my phone to the computer. I would also like to have the emails I want to keep on my phone transferred to the MacBook.
