A friend had 6 on her 3GS. It ran ok but slow just like the upcoming 8 
will be for the 4s. As each new iOS is released the device becomes slower.

Hi Christopher it sounds like i should not update.
Was it just slow to turn on and surf the net I would expect while sending 
and recieving test messagers it would not slow up much.

Wow Sarah are you saying my phone is an old dinosaur.
I think i will not let it update.
Is their a way to hide that up date from showing up in the soft ware update.

It will I believe eventally go away, but it is takign up space on your phone. I 
don't know how to remove that update though as I believe apple will just keep 
trying to make you update..

Hard to describe but it was very usable but slow in things like opening 
apps. It may take a few seconds compared to a second or so on newer phones.

I remember when i had skype on my old 3gs. And this was back in 2010. I had to 
set my contacts to online only or it would take about 3 seconds between swipes 
for my contacts.. Over all for its day it was very very good.

Hi Isaac, I note you have now moved to Temple.  Do hope you are enjoying 
your new home.  I expect it has given you a great opportunity to meet up 
with your old school friends.  Hope life is treating you well.  Would appear 
so from your postings on Face Book.  Garry tells me that he has given up on 
the Mac and I saw where he is trying to sell his Mac Book Pro.  I now have a 
Mac Book Pro and really like it.  Looking forward to the next OSX release at 
the end of October, not to mention the iOS8 at the end of this week I think. 
At times I have questions and wish you were around to answer them but I 
guess we all move on one way and another.  The Mac and iOS list is very 
quiet indeed.
