can anyone recommend a high end sound device
Hi all. My sister’s external Mbox 3rd Pro Firewire soundcard / sound device is broken, and she need a new one. She need a high end sound card thunderbold or USB 3.0. She use it for recording with protools and in the future she will try to use logic. She also use it for connecting to her receiver to obtain better sound quality. The controlpannel settings on the MBoX pro 3rd is not VoiceOver freindly. I hope anyone can help me. Any amplifier recommendations for use with headphones on a Mac?
Hi all - When I booted in to repair mode [command r] and Fred began speaking, the volume output was so low I could hardly hear him, and found it difficult to understand what he was reading on the screen. I already have an fiio headphones amp, that does help with boosting sound in general, but I could really do with something a bit more powerful, for situations like the above, but also for listening to music, especially when I use my excellent Beyer headphones with my iPhone 6. The Beyers have a great sound, but not enough power without being boosted. Any suggestions would be great. Re: Any amplifier recommendations for use with headphones on a Mac?
I too have a hearing loss. The trick here is to use something which has a headphones out, for example some readily available computer speakers have headphones out thus you can give your headphones that extra volume you need. For example, my Altec Lansing computer speakers plug into the Mac’s headphone jack. When in recovery mode volume - as I understand it - cannot be changed from the Mac so I change the volume of the Altec Lansing with headphones plugged in to compensate. It might actually. Not the fact that you have a vm, but the fact your processor might be slightly slower then the newer macs which I believe have the i7 processors which are slightly more efficient. When in recovery mode volume - as I understand it - cannot be changed from the Mac so I change the volume of the Altec Lansing with headphones plugged in to compensate. Re: [Mac-access]: Get Backup Pro is a solid backup utility for Macs
Hello, I just reviewed the information on this app. My question is: Will this work with the OS of Mountain Lion? I haven't upgraded to Yosemite yet, but would like to purchase it and hopefully use it before installing Yosemite. It would be nice to have a clone of the computer, plus a good all-around backup program. Thanks for this gem.
