Hmm. Very good discussion question. If you are working with apps that have a
lot of space then an ipad would work out fine. One example would be garage

I am getting worse at remembering keystrokes and magic trackpad gestures. My
excuse is that I use too many OS’s and am getting old. :-)

The problem with the iPod touch is that it is old. It's technology is two
generations behind in terms of the processor. That is something that is hard to
overcome, and my guess is that the next time Apple comes out with an upgrade to
its OS, the iPod touch fifth-generation won't be coming
I'd say that if you don't see the screen, then the iPod is the way to go.
Also, you can buy a GPS battery that is a case for the iPod, and use it for
GPS navigation.
Sure you could do that with an iPad, but unless you carry a purse, it will
be a hassle.
